Section 12. Field Management

The  planting of the correct seed class is not always enough to assure  production of the subsequent class of certified seed.  It may also be necessary to rogue the field to remove mixtures of other  varieties, off-types, other crops, diseased plants, or weeds to bring the field  within specific crop or varietal tolerances.   Applicants and growers should always inspect the field(s) carefully  during the growing season to ensure compliance with the individual crop  standards.
